Picture Day


This coming Wednesday is our picture day. Make sure you are practising your smiles and have your outfit picked out and ready to go. Once again our photographer is Green Apple Studios.


St. Jerome’s Terry Fox Walk of Hope


On Thursday, September 26th our school is having our Terry Fox Walk. This is an opportunity for our students to learn about a Canadian hero. Terry’s determination and resiliency is a is something that we should all aspire to. This year we will be collecting ‘Twoonies for Terry’ Please send in a Twoonie with your child to help find a cure for cancer.


St. Jerome School-Wide Global Competency Focus



We are looking to have some parent input as to what you think our Global Competency school-wide focus should be. Take a look at what they are and answer this two-question survey: Global Competency Parent Survey. Next week I am hoping to share the results with you.


Orange Shirt Day - Monday, September 30th


Wearing an orange shirt and promoting the slogan, Every Child Matters is an affirmation of our commitment to raise awareness of the residential school experience and to ensure that every child matters as we focus on our hope for a better future in which children are empowered to help each other.


Hot Lunches


School Council will be organizing the alternating pizza and SubWay days for students this year. Mazollas and Booster Juice will also be returning this year. As a new addition, Boston Pizza will be providing some non-pizza options to our students this year. If you are interested please sign up by the deadlines.
