With the 100th day of school, our primary classes celebrate 100s Day.
It highlights number sense and numeration skills: reading, representing, comparing, and ordering whole numbers, and using concrete materials to investigate fractions and money amounts; demonstrating an understanding of magnitude by counting; and solving problems involving the addition and subtraction of whole numbers, using a variety of strategies.
And 100s Day is just a lot of fun just like mathematics is.
